Falling
Creek Cottage is named for the small creek that runs
parallel to the drive and past the cottage's door
to empty into the cove. It provides the perfect accompaniment
to the crackle of the firepit and the gentle lap of
waves on the beach below.
Archaeological
studies
have recorded 38 recognized
shishalh sites containing
shell middens, rock shelters
and stone fish traps,
now protected by the
provincial Heritage
Conservation Branch.
