There are many hikes close to Sunset Cove - some smaller shoreline walks or a stroll through the woods along the private road will relax and intrigue you with many BC native plants and the wet greenness of it all. For the more adventurous, there are several lakes and mountains within the area you can hike into - drop into the Sechelt Visitor Info Centre in the Trail Bay Mall or visit the BC Forest Service office on Field Road in Wilson Creek for more information before heading out.

The Coast is also a haven for mountain bikers and there are hundreds of miles of excellent trails in the Lower Sunshine Coast trail system, most well marked and offering a range of either touristy-style mellow approaches or technical challenges and obstacles for the advanced rider. If you're interested in hooking up with our local guiding company or getting more detailed trail information, write and let us know and we'll introduce you.
